An interior detail with J&W takes 2–4 hours and is quoted per vehicle. We vacuum and air-blow every seam, steam-clean and sanitize every surface, shampoo-extract seats and carpets, treat stains, and condition leather. Bay Area interiors take a beating: fog-season humidity that breeds mildew smell in carpet, coffee on the 880 commute, kids, dogs, sand from Crown Beach, and sun through the windshield baking dash plastics in Walnut Creek. A vacuum and a wipe doesn't fix any of that. Hot-water extraction and steam do, which is why every tier above Classic includes both.

We've been pulling stains out of Bay Area cars since before J&W was a company. The van carries a commercial hot-water extractor, a dry-vapor steamer, a compressor, and pH-balanced, biodegradable chemistry for fabric, leather, plastics and screens. The same tools a good shop has, parked in your driveway in Rockridge, Alameda or Walnut Creek. Every job ends with a walk-around under light before we leave.
We'll also tell you the truth: most food, drink, mud and pet stains come out. Old dye transfer from jeans on light leather, bleach marks and burn holes do not. And we'd rather say so on the phone than surprise you.

It comes down to size and condition. A compact or sedan that is tidy and just needs a reset sits at the Classic tier; pet hair, ground-in stains, spilled drinks or a three-row SUV push it to Deep Shampoo or the Diamond Reset, where steam and hot-water extraction do the heavy lifting. Send a couple of photos of the inside and we'll tell you which tier it actually needs and quote it exactly.
Most interior details take 2–4 hours. A Classic interior on a sedan is about 2 hours; a Deep Shampoo or Diamond Reset on a large SUV with heavy condition can take 4+ hours because shampoo extraction and steam passes take time to do right.
Yes. Stain removal is what our Deep Shampoo and Diamond Reset tiers are built for. We pre-treat, agitate, hot-water extract and steam. Coffee, soda, food, mud, makeup and most pet accidents come out. Old dye transfer and bleach spots are permanent and we will tell you up front.
Yes. We use controlled, low-moisture steam designed for automotive interiors, keep it away from screens and switchgear, and follow leather with a pH-balanced cleaner and conditioner so it does not dry out or crack.
No. Our van is fully self-contained with its own water tank and generator. We can detail in your driveway, on a legal curb spot, in an office lot or a roomy condo garage stall anywhere in Oakland and the Bay Area.
Yes. Embedded pet hair is an add-on because it takes dedicated tools (rubber blades, pet hair stones, compressed air) and extra time. But it comes out. Mention it when you book so we schedule enough time.
Yes. Interior shampoo and steam remove the source in fabric; for smoke, pet and mildew odors that have soaked into the headliner and vents we add an ozone treatment. See our odor removal service.
